The first batch of 5MWh energy storage systems at VASTECH Technology Sichuan Revitalization Industrial Park has been successfully connected to the grid!
Release time:2025-07-18 21:09:18
At noon on July 13, 2025, the first batch of 5MWh energy storage systems of Zhejiang Hanwei Technology Co., Ltd. located in Sichuan Zhenxing New-generation Electronic Information Smart Industrial Park, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, was successfully connected to the grid.
Alleviate power consumption pressure and support stable production
Sichuan Zhenxing New-Generation Electronic Information Smart Industrial Park covers an area of 130 mu and hosts high-energy-consuming industries such as automotive electronics, intelligent Internet of Things, and intelligent equipment. With the arrival of summer, the park faces heavy and volatile electricity loads, difficulties in capacity expansion and high costs, placing extremely high requirements on power supply stability.
Based on high-safety energy storage system technology, Hanwei Technology provides the park with a one-stop solution to guarantee power supply and optimize energy use strategies. The system improves the overall energy economy of the park by leveraging profits from peak-valley electricity price differences.
Connect to virtual power plants for flexible demand response
Besides performing the important function of peak-valley arbitrage, this batch of energy storage systems also undertakes the regulation tasks of Virtual Power Plants (VPP):
1. Power consumption monitoring: The intelligent network operation platform monitors the operating status of energy storage equipment in real time around the clock.
2. Demand response: Precisely release energy during peak load periods to ease grid pressure, cut power consumption costs and obtain compensation.
3. Ancillary services: Adjust charging and discharging as required to provide the power grid with support such as frequency regulation and peak shaving, help maintain stable system operation and expand revenue streams.
By connecting to virtual power plants, energy storage systems break the limitations of the traditional "saving electricity bills" model. With multiple values including grid regulation, they truly become efficient and flexible energy assistants for industrial parks.
This marks an important practice of VASTECH Technology's integrated "energy storage + virtual power plant" model. Going forward, Hanwei Technology will accelerate the deployment of industrial and commercial energy storage systems in urban districts and counties, helping more users achieve the goals of energy management and resource optimization.
