On October 15, 2024, the final of the China International University Innovation Competition (2024) was held at Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Chen Jining, Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Huai Jinpeng, Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Ministry of Education attended the event and delivered a speech. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Shanghai attended the event. In this international competition, which brought together 153 countries and regions around the world and registered a total of 5.14 million high-quality projects, 1,410 projects were shortlisted for the finals, and Vastech Technology stood out from many leaders with its project "Next generation Intrinsic safety and high power energy storage system" and won the third place in the competition. Zhu Zhongming, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, and Zhang Yi, President of China Construction Bank, presented the award to Han.

In the course of the competition, the main judges, Zeng Yuqun, chairman of Ningde Times, Zhong Zhihua, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, etc., commented on the Vastech Technology project and expressed their recognition of the team. At the same time, in the signing ceremony of the excellent project of the competition, the domestic head capital signed an investment contract with Zhejiang Vastech Technology in Shanghai's "Big Zero Bay" global innovation and entrepreneurship cluster.

In addition, during the competition, Vastech Technology also announced that it would open source some of its technologies. Vastech will provide some industrial core materials and components, battery assembly and testing services for global universities and research institutes, and water zinc electricity suppliers, so as to jointly accelerate the development of the industry. At present, Vastech has conducted 58 attempts of open source technology exchange with 44 cooperative research and development groups.
